Welcome to our online toolkit, Working with SATO: A Guide for USAID Projects. This toolkit is produced and funded by the Partnership for Better Living (PBL), LIXIL’s cooperative agreement with USAID, which aims to expand the market for SATO’s affordable sanitation and hygiene solutions in developing markets.

The toolkit offers resources to guide you on working with SATO throughout every phase of a typical five year USAID project – from proposal writing and strategic planning, to activity design and implementation, to post-project wind down. With these resources, our goal is to create a roadmap for successfully collaborating with SATO on USAID funded WASH projects around the world.
