Making sanitation and hygiene easy and affordable

We are proud of offering our award-winning toilet and hand washing solutions to consumers across India. We work closely with our robust retail and distribution network, masons, retailers, corporates, NGOs, and governments, to help bridge the sanitation and hygiene gap. Our work is critical to Government’s Swachh Bharat Mission – an initiative launched in 2014 to eliminate open defecation and Jal Jeevan mission launched in 2019. We have made huge progress in the country which is  promising and we are working towards creating a better tomorrow for every household.

Our work in India

Starting with just one state, we have come a long way to be available nearly pan India today. From a single product to multiple solutions designed exclusively for India we have grown manifold. Today we work with 45+ distributors, 1500+ retailers and have trained more than 20,000 masons to make sure that our products are available to anyone who needs them.

We have developed many concepts in India which are now being shared globally, from products to WASH Haats we have paved the way for the globe to follow. India launched the SATO Tap using unconventional channels such as street food vendors and the family network of our masons.

We are delighted with the value we have been able to deliver in India to date, but our ambitions do not end here. With a focus on scaling up our operations, we want to bring hygiene and sanitation solutions to provide consumers with a better life every day.

Working with partners

Across the country we have developed a strong distribution and supply network with local manufacturers, retailers, and re-sellers. Together, we are expanding the availability, affordability, and quality of the goods available for our consumers. We are always looking to create opportunities to build partnerships with brands who want to make an impact and would love to hear from you.

Making Hand HygIEne a habit

With the commercial launch of SATO Tap, the need to raise awareness was paramount, so we went to the streets, literally! We launched a special food vendor activation in Nagpur, Maharashtra and Puri, Orissa. The local sales team influenced behaviour change and consumers now enjoy a hygienic food experience with SATO Taps. Take a look below for more information.

Engaging with the end customer online

Deep digital penetration even in rural India has pushed us to use Social Media to reach out to our end customer, and talk to them about the need of better toilets to improve their lives.
