PROVIDING SOLUTIONS WHERE THEY’RE MOST NEEDED
Since 2014, we have played a role in improving sanitation and hygiene for communities in the Philippines. Following typhoon Haiyan, LIXIL donated more than 10,000 of our toilet products to support reconstruction efforts and ensure that, on an interim basis, consumers were not being forced to live in unhygienic and unsafe conditions. Since then we have worked closely with partners to identify the needs of the consumers and provide sanitation and hygiene solutions for them. We have launched a range of products including the SATO Tap and the SATO pan that can be used in households, schools and community centres and provide access to safely managed sanitation.

While our journey in the country is only just beginning, we have already partnered with institutions that are making a change including NWTF, ASHI, SEDP, TESARI and UNICEF to create awareness and enhance our customers lives every day. We are manufacturing locally with our partner Manly Plastic, the largest provider of end-to-end plastic solutions operating in the Philippines for more than 50 years.
